DANIEL KYRI BIO Chicago native Daniel Kyri is best known for portraying the firefighter Darren Ritter on NBC’s hit series Chicago Fire as well as in the spinoffs Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med. Kyri has also appeared in Freeform’s The Thing About Harry and Stephen Cone’s award-winning film Henry Gamble’s Birthday Party, now streaming on Hulu. The multi-hyphenate wrote, directed, produced and starred in the made for web miniseries The T(OTV). Named by NewCity’s Stage Issue as one of 2020’s 50 People Who Really Perform in Chicago, Daniel has starred in productions at Lookingglass, Steppenwolf, Chicago Shakespeare and Goodman Theatres, and was seen onstage in Tarell Alvin McCraney’s world premiere production of Ms. Blakk for President.
